Ragged Records is a proud sponsor of the second All Senses Festival this year. Bringing some of the Midwest's most innovative and expressive music and film to the Quad Cities for an experience not to be missed. Follow the link below to the website for more information.
All Senses Festival is back for its second year, September 25-30th, 2018. The festival is a collaboration of several ongoing artistic endeavors combined under one umbrella: music, spoken word, film, an antique, craft and art fair and much more. The festival incorporates multiple venues on both sides of the Mississippi River, taking place at The Figge Art Museum, Rock Island Brewing Company and Rozz-Tox.
The week will kick off on Tuesday at the Figge with The Roedelius Cells, an immersive audio experience created by Grammy-nominated composer Tim Story, and featuring original piano recordings by Hans-Joachim Roedelius; presented by The Figge Art Museum, Ragged Records, and Curious Music. The installation will be in the Grand Lobby Tuesday through Thursday evening, where a closing ceremony and conversation with Tim Story will take place. After the closing ceremony, a brief cocktail hour will lead into Cinema at the Figge, presented by Ford Photography. There will be a short film program with live scoring from Brian Barr of Aseethe and Emma Ruth Rundle, as well as a feature film. Cinema at the Figge is free, with donations welcome, and guaranteed seating for All Senses ticket holders.
The music segment of All Senses includes national, regional, and local acts; a few of the highlights include Bongripper, Facs, Dos Santos, Emma Ruth Rundle, McCombs/MacKay/Rumback and more. Between sets, there will be readings from national and regional spoken word artists, presented by the Midwest Writing Center.

Currently Poison is in the middle of their headlining tour with special guests Cheap Trick and opening act Pop Evil. The bands are fired up to make the journey across the U.S. together. JOHN CHRIST OF DANZIG & SAMHAIN
John Christ, is a professional musician, performer and guitar instructor. John performed on more than six critically acclaimed rock and roll albums when he was the lead guitarist for the rock group, Danzig. Danzig’s hit song, Mother, was an international Billboard top 200 hit in 1993. Danzig also toured with Metallica, Black Sabbath, and Slayer through the U.S. John also toured with Danzig through Canada, Europe, Australia, New Zealand, parts of Asia, and South America. After leaving Danzig, John Christ released his own solo CD, Flesh Caffeine in 1998. He also worked as a session musician for movie soundtracks and composed music for movie and television trailers. He performed for TV stations such as ABC and Nine Network Australia. These performances included working with artists including Tom Jones and Lou Rawls.
